E2025-74 — AFULE Post Election Report

The State Office has received the finalised AFULE election report from the Australian Electoral Commission, concluding the 2026 AFULE elections. This election saw ballots for depot sub branch positions and Divisional Councillor roles — your union executive.

Elected for this three-year term: President — Anthony Woodward (QR Citytrain); Vice President — Andrew Caris (AZJ Stuart); Women’s Officer — Claudia Payne (AZJ Bluff), Proxy — Stevie Diehm (QR Redbank).

Divisional Councillors: Division 1 — Robert Daniel (AZJ Stuart); Division 2 — Phil Brown (AZJ Jilalan); Division 3 — Claudia Payne (AZJ Bluff); Division 4 — John Pederson (AZJ Maryborough); Division 5 — Paul Carmody (QR Mayne); Division 6 — Samuel Crawford (AZJ Willowburn); Division 7 — James Simms (QR Bundaberg).

The AFULE Secretary role is a four-year term, with nominations opening in the third quarter of 2026.
