NOTICE TO MEMBERS
1 April 2010
Dear Traincrew,
The Australian Federated Union of Locomotive Employees, Queensland Union of Employees (“AFULE”) Divisional Council will be making an application for exemption from election in the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission. The Divisional Council is making this application as the same persons who fill the position in the federal counterpart body will fill the position in the state organisation. The members of the AFULE will not be detrimentally affected as eligible members’ will be given the opportunity to participate in the federal counterpart bodies’ election. Therefore there will be no election of the state counterpart body. Members may file a notice of objection with the Queensland State Industrial Registrar within 35 days from the publication of this notice.
If you have any queries in relation to this matter, please don’t hesitate to contact the State Office on (07) 3257 1151 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
